In addition to receiving points towards the overall season championship, the top three finishers in each night’s Main races receive cash prizes and each winner also gets a big trophy. In total, Arena Racing drivers will win more than $45,000 in prizes over the course of the season-making it one of the best funded, most competitive racing series in the country.
Season-Long Points Championship Prize Money
Just like the Sprint Cup and other Series, Arena Racing drivers compete for a season-long points championship. The Top 20 drivers at the end of each season receive cash prizes as follows:
A “top dog” race will feature the top finishers in each main race to make up the 14 car Top Dog event. When the event consists of 3 mains; the top 6 finishers in the A-Main and the top 4 finishers in the B and C-Mains will advance. When the event consists of 4 mains; the top 6 finishers in the A-Main and the top 3 finishers of the B and C-Main as well as the top 2 finishers of the D-Main will advance into the Top Dog event (for a total of 14 cars) to compete for points and a trophy. The winner will receive 5 points and a trophy, 4 points for second. 3 for third, 2 for fourth and 1 point each for the remaining cars in the Top Dog event.
