Driving Instructions
From I-77 South:
Take Exit 11 (Brookshire Freeway - East). Keep straight on Brookshire Freeway - East. Take Exit 2B (East Independence Boulevard). Keep straight on East Independence Boulevard and the facility is two miles on the right, just after Briar Creek Overpass.
From I-77 North:
Take Exit 9 (John Belk Freeway). Keep straight on John Belk Freeway. Take Exit 2B (East Independence Boulevard.) Keep straight on East Independence Boulevard and the facility is two miles on the right, just after Briar Creek Overpass.
From I-85 South:
Take Exit 36 (Brookshire Freeway). Turn left and keep straight on Brookshire Freeway. Take Exit 2B (East Independence Boulevard). Keep straight on East Independence Boulevard and the facility is 2 miles on the right, just after Briar Creek Overpass.
From I-85 North:
Take Hwy Exit 36 (Brookshire Freeway). Turn right and keep straight on Brookshire Freeway. Take Exit 2B (East Independence Boulevard). Keep straight on East Independence Boulevard and the facility is 2 miles on the right, just after Briar Creek Overpass.
Parking:
Cricket Arena features on-site parking for over 1,400 vehicles. In addition, parking is available at the adjoining Charlotte Merchandise Mart parking lots for most Arena events for approximately 1,700 additional spaces. All Day Parking is $10 per space which includes In/Out Privileges.
To Enter:
Access to the Auditorium lots may be made from the following locations:
Off Monroe Road at Washburn Avenue
Off Monroe Road via Chipley Avenue
From Highway 74 (Independence Blvd.), access via Arena Blvd. or Briar Creek Road overpass.
The lots typically open two hours before event time.
Fees:
$6 per parking space. Recreational vehicles and buses are charged for the number of spaces that they occupy. Prices may vary for special events.
Accessible Parking:
To access more than 40 disabled parking spaces, please display your North Carolina disabled parking tag and attendants will direct you to the closest available space.
Rules & Regulations:
The public consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted in the Arena parking areas. No tailgating is allowed.
