Rules Overview
Arena Racing USA® is the official governing body of the series.
All drivers, team owners and crew members must abide strictly
by the rules set forth and designed to promote clean, skill-based
racing competition in which everything is made as consistent
as possible. This allows the drivers, and the drivers alone,
to be the deciding factor in what happens on the track.
Rules Snapshot:
All cars must meet league specifications (Car Info)
Teams are allowed to customize only set-up related items
such as: caster/camber, toe-in, tire stagger, track bar adjustments,
coil-over springs and shocks, lead location and bite.
Drivers, owners and crewmembers must be licensed Arena Racing
members in good standing.
- Drivers must be at least 14 years of age to compete.
- Each race event will feature up to four qualifying heats,
four Main races and a nightly Top Dog championship race.
- Drivers may compete in only one qualifying heat per event.
Each driver’s heat and starting order will be determined
by drawing a “pill” prior to each race event.
- Race officials will use standard green, red, yellow, black,
white and checkered flags to control the action, as well
as the blue and yellow “move-over” flag.
- Drivers will accrue points in each main and Top Dog race
of each event towards the season championship.
Note: Arena Racing Fans will be notified
of all other specific rules during the races. Complete rulebooks
are only available to drivers and team owners.
